We asked the hotel clerk to tell us where we could go to get good food at a reasonable price the night we checked in, and this was the place she referred us to. I remember the food tasting pretty good, but I honestly don't remember what I ordered. What I remember was that that it was open mic night. The music was so loud communication was difficult and conversation was largely something we skipped. The decor was pretty cool and interesting. Some of the employees were dressed as wenches, and that certainly added something to the experience. But the loud, mediocre music was really what I took home from this experience. That, and it was pretty dark, and I generally prefer to be able to see what I'm eating.

    - Walked in to a grimy, dark, restaurant on a hot afternoon (about 90 degrees) - they had the doors open in lieu of turning on the AC (probably to save money since this business appears to be on its way out). - There were only two other patrons in the res

If you're looking for a fine dinning experience this place isn't for you. If you want to eat good food and have some drinks in a fun bar then you'll enjoy it. Had the shrimp and catch of the day- delicious. Waitress was hilarious.

Terrible food- nasty place- waiter wiping tables with nasty cloth - no disinfectant!!! Waitress took our leftover napkins back with her to re-use! Omg! Awful!

This place needs a makeover. A former McDonald's building that has not been cleaned in years. The place smells when you walk in. We went for some wings as I would not dare to eat any seafood. I'm sure they were frozen which I was okay with seeing the filth everywhere. I wouldn't have ordered any food but it was late and not much else was open. I should have just grabbed a bag of chips at the 7-eleven, but i didn't. I could go on and on, but I don't want to as I want to forget the place.

We went to check it out (had a G.C.) and the bartender was so rude, they still smoke inside this building and the patrons were quite shady. Pretty sure it used to be a Hardees as they've made no effort to make it look any different. We decided not order anything at all, maybe I'm misjudging them but we didn't get a good vibe at all. We won't even try the food...tossed a $20 G.C. in the trash...

Great service and awesome food! Sat outside, got our drinks right away. Their home made chips are awesome and the pound of boiled shrimp I had was fantastic! I will go back!

Yes, this is an old Mcdonalds.. Yes, it's dark. Yes, it's spring break-ish... However, this has been my best meal yet in Daytona! The servers seems super friendly. I just ate the biggest; best oysters I've had in several years! This spot is off the beaten path (not walking distance from boardwalk) but if you want to get away from the cheap souvenir shops, and tourists come get some good food in a place you can relax in.

Our server, Lorraine, was VERY friendly, but completely disorganized and down right frantic at times with only a handful of guests. My husband and I ordered hot wings to share and a couple of beers. After about 30 minutes the cook brought them out and set them on the bar in front of our server. She walked off and left them there while she fluttered about with a couple other guests. They sat on the counter for at least 10 minutes before she finally noticed them. She picked them up and gave them a good smell with her nose in the basket, then handed them to the wrong table. It was several minutes before she noticed her mistake. It took an hour to receive our food from the time we ordered. She apologized and offered us a 10% discount on our food. That would have saved us a whopping $.90. Thanks. As it turns out, we waited for quite some time after we were finished eating to get our bill. She forgot the discount. When she ran or credit card she forgot to return in to us. We then had to practically chase her down to get her attention. The food was fine (thankfully we weren't served the cold wings), but service painfully slow. If you want good wings, go to Fratellis Pizzaria. The wings were better, their beer is buy one get one free and the service was far superior.

ICK! This place is so far past dive it's not even funny. Dirty. Tables were sticky. Dirty. Chairs broken. Paper menu was dirty and damp and looked like it had been rescued from the trash one time too many. Stank like old feet, stale beer and something that I'd rather not know the name of. The roach in the ladies room was not willing to share the sink. We were going to order a dozen oysters and water, plus a beer for my hubby. Decided to forgo the oysters given the not very sanitary feel of the place, but I was hungry so we ordered "cannon balls of fire" Wow, no spice, no fire, just a pile of blackened (burned) balls in some kind of sticky dark stuff. ICK. Really bad... never again.

Not sure what to make of this place...definitely a former McDonald's converted into a dive bar. You could see it was a work in progress. An older lady with dyed hair and a bad boob job was running the show. Her husband was struggling trying to change out a ceiling fan...work that should probably be done before they open. I gathered it was their son in charge of the kitchen and his wife was tending bar. Their little kid was running around trying to get some attention. I felt sorry for him. There was another guy helping cook who I'd bet a dollar for a dime got his experience cooking in the kitchen of a slammer. But I watched him work and you could see he had pride in what he was doing. I appreciated the fact he was making the most of his second chance. He brought some ice out to the bar and one of the other customers told him he did a good job on the food. I was hungry but didn't order anything. If I did, it would have been because of him, not in spite of him.The place wasn't dirty but I just stuck with my $2 beers. As someone else stated, the tables were sticky. But I looked close and they were clean...just a strange surface that felt sticky when you put your arms down. I moved to the bar and it was much better. Nobody was smoking inside from what I could see. Everybody went outside for that, which was nice. All in all, this place wasn't that bad. The people who ate seemed to like what they had. The drinks were cheap. I went there to watch football and they had four different games on, so I was happy. They were definitely trying to run a good business. The lady running it definitely had experience and made sure things were running smoothly. The best thing I think they could do for the place would be to make it not look like an old McDonald's. And that includes getting rid of the old drive thru lane in the parking lot. It just looks tacky.

Honestly a great little place, definitely a dive bar don't expect much as far as decor goes, but bar was clean and drinks were flowing, football was on. No one was smoking inside anymore, so I guess they got rid of that. This place got a bad rap but the food was great and the bartender, Cj was really nice and attentive.

This spot is so much fun. Total dive bar...anything goes here. No military discount....kind of disappointing. HOWEVER the food is freaking fantastic. My wife had the wings and I had a Burger... phenominal! Blue Beat played...full band. They rocked. We will be back for 8 dollar pitchers of Amber Bock soon.
